A lot of progress!

Since my last post, a lot has happened.  The siding is pretty much complete, one garage door has been installed and the stone on the house is complete (more pics to follow).  The fire place has also been framed in and completely faced.  We love the way it looks.  We chose black bear stone for the outside and a mixture of black bear and another stone for the fireplace.

This week, some of the siding and internal sheet rock in the garage was put up.  I am loving the color.   The color is a little deeper in person than what it looks like here. 

Some of the stone for the fireplace will soon be ready to be put in place.

Front door is finally in and installed!

Went over to the house this morning and was wowed by the front door installation.  We knew what the door looked like on the computer when we ordered it, but just seeing it in and installed is so exciting.  It really is going to make the house pop! 

The stone that will surround the door and porch should be in and installed soon, along with the siding, so we cannot wait for that.   The inside is being insulated and soon to be sheetrocked.

Windows are in!

We have been waiting for this.... The windows are in and they look awesome; we are so excited.   The tub was placed, heating & cooling lines put in.

The roof is on!

I am amazed what a day or two has brought.  We now have a roof on and the inside bracing is gone.  I walked through tonite and could really start to envision the flow, furniture placement, etc.  I love walking through the house as it is right now, it has been such a dream in the making, now coming true.
