Cereal Box Mirror

I just couldn't get over this mirror tutorial I happened upon on Under The Table And Dreaming!  I am seriously wanting to dress up our living room (a long time in coming).  My husband was a "confirmed" bachelor for a very long time and never did much of anything to the inside of the house until I came into his life.  I'm determined to make one.  I'll post pics of mine.

Double-duty desk

Isnt this bookcase/desk a great idea!  I wished I'd thought of it when my children were smaller; what a great idea.  I might just make a little version of it for myself in my craftroom.  I just love the color of this room too! You can download the instructions here.

An island re-do

I purchased this item at a garage sale. Not bad for $80. I wanted it to match the cabinets in my kitchen. Luckily the base color was a dead-on match, all I needed to do as add some beautiful stenciling. What do you think?
